Texas Medical Association

The Texas Medical Association receives recognition for performance excellence from the Quality Texas Foundation.

Quality Texas Foundation, an organizational improvement training and education foundation that helps businesses, schools, hospitals, non-profits and government agencies achieve excellence through knowledge, feedback and recognition has designated Texas Medical Association as an Achievement Level organization in their 2008 Texas Awards for Performance Excellence. ell-deployed, effective, systematic approach to organizational management, with good performance levels and trends evaluated against industry standards using the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards (MBNQA) criteria.

TMA's continuous improvement program, created by TMA's CEO Louis J. Goodman, PhD, CAE, and led by Vice President of Marketing, Connie Minogue, CAE, was initiated to embed the MBNQA criteria into TMA operations in order to facilitate achieving TMA's 2010 performance levels goals to be on the cutting edge of validated management practices.
