Revolution is on the Horizon

With the passage of the Affordable Care Act in 2010, the revolution of health care continues to be front and center with medical societies. New programs and regulations continue to be rolled out, with every day bringing new challenges. At the 2011 AAMSE Annual Conference, you will hear from your colleagues on how their organizations are moving forward with implementation and education of their members as health system reform continues to evolve.

Registration for the 2011 Annual Conference will be opening later this month. The schedule of topics is posted online - check back often as speakers and detailed descriptions are added.

And while you’re visiting Boston for the conference, take in the sites and history of America’s Revolution. There is much to see and do in Boston. Here is just one possibility:

There is a complimentary shuttle that operates round-trip service from the Seaport World Trade Center to the Old State House. The Boston Massacre took place in front of the balcony on March 5, 1770 and the original site is marked by a cobblestone circle.

The National Park Service has a visitor center next to the Old State House at 15 State Street and offers free 90-minute walking tours of the Freedom Trail. For more information call (617) 242-5642.
