The Media Revolution: How to Adapt to the Changing Communications Landscape, led by John Seigenthaler (yes, that John Seigenthaler – the one of NBC Nightly News fame). The workshop will discuss the strategies and tactics used to communicate with your members, promote your organization and tell your story to the broader public. In this three-hour workshop, refresh your PR knowledge and hone your communications tactics for the changing media landscape with relevant case studies and hands-on exercises. This workshop will be geared to meet the attendees’ level of experience and provide direct feedback and direction to boost your communications programs to the next level.
After spending more than a decade at NBC News as correspondent and anchor of the top-rated NBC Nightly News Weekend Edition, Mr. Seigenthaler helps clients tell their stories, articulate their messages and manage their reputations. He currently develops communications programs for major corporations, small businesses, academic institutions and non-profits, and advises C-level executives regarding their communications needs, including: media relations, crisis management, web/social media strategy, video production and media training.
The Communications Workshop will be held Wednesday, July 18 from 1-4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, California. The workshop is open to both members and nonmembers of AAMSE and is free for registrants of the conference. A fee will apply for those attending only the Communications Workshop.
