AAMSE 360:Essentials of Medical Society Management is replacing AAMSE's New Medical Executives Institute.
The name, AAMSE 360: Essentials of Medical Society Management, represents the newly configured format of the program which will be an immersive course in the vital aspects of organized medicine. AAMSE 360 will be a hybrid event, consisting of online webinars, virtual discussions and an in-person meeting during the 2014 AAMSE Annual Conference; participation in the program will include registration for the full Annual Conference.
AAMSE 360 will continue in the tradition of the New Medical Executives Institute by being geared toward professionals who have three years or less experience in organized medicine. The program will continue to strive towards preparing participants for the unique aspects of medical society management while providing them with a peer network to support them throughout their careers.

There are no specific individual courses required as part of the applications – selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs.

Please note that sessions specific to AAMSE procedures and/or medical topics will not earn credit. All credits are subject to the determination of the CAE program.

New Medical Executives Institute is now AAMSE 360: Essentials of Medical Society Management

Each year, AAMSE's Profiles of Excellence (PoE) Awards recognize the year's best in medical society management. Apply now for your chance to gain national recognition for your organization's achievements in:
Advocacy Communications Education Membership
Award recipients will be recognized at the 2014 AAMSE Annual Conference*, in Hotline (AAMSE's monthly e-newsletter), through a press release, on social media and in other channels throughout the year.
*Winning organizations each receive one complimentary registration for the 2014 AAMSE Annual Conference (July 30-August 2 in Louisville, KY) where the awards will be presented.
Share best practices
The PoE Awards are a great opportunity to share your organization's success stories while picking up best practices from other medical societies. All applicants (not limited to winners) will be invited to participate in special PoE breakout sessions at this year's AAMSE Annual Conference where they will present their submissions to their peers. Select submissions will also be shared throughout the year in Hotline and in AAMSE's Management Library.
Contribute as a judge
Whether your organization submits an application for an award or not, you can also get involved by serving on the PoE judging panel. Judges will be assigned an award category to review and will score all submissions in that category.
